Conservative pain therapy

Infiltration is the delivery of a drug into our body via a syringe. The needle can be placed under the skin, in a muscle, in a joint or in the spinal canal to bring the drug directly to the site of the event.

Most infiltrations (or injections) in orthopedics contain a local anesthetic, the transmission of pain is interrupted, sometimes in combination with cortisone to reduce inflammation, so the infiltration also has a decongestant effect. Hyaluronic acid or autologous blood are also used for orthopedic infiltrations. Depending on the diagnosis, the appropriate medication will be chosen for you to treat your pain.

In the case of acute pain or swelling, infiltration therapy offers rapid relief .

Infusion therapy

Pain-relieving drugs can also be administered in the form of intravenous infusions to treat acute or chronic pain. Here, the drug is introduced directly into the bloodstream via a cannula. The infusions allow the active ingredients to be absorbed directly. These are transported from the blood to the areas of the body where they are needed.

In the case of infusions for pain therapy, combinations of highly effective analgesic and anti-inflammatory drugs are used, sometimes supplemented with muscle relaxants.
Neodolpasse 250 ml is often used. Areas of application for Neodolpasse infusions in our practice are:
